Is your page easy for AI assistants to quote?

Enter a page: we list its Schema.org structured data, find the headings phrased as questions, and apply the same rules as the Beakon audit. Free, no signup.

Structured data

JSON-LD structured data tells machines what a page is about: an article, a product, a FAQ, a business. AI assistants use it to identify the subject and the facts of a page. Generic types (WebPage, WebSite) say little; specific ones (Product, FAQPage, HowTo, Article) carry the information an answer needs.

Direct answers

People ask assistants questions. A page whose headings are phrased as questions, each followed by a short answer, maps directly onto them. FAQ and HowTo markup make that structure explicit.

Long text with no subheadings is one block that is hard to extract from. Titled sections let an assistant pick the passage that answers.

What this check looks at

The HTML your server sends, without running JavaScript, as most AI crawlers read it. Structured data or FAQs injected by a script after loading are not seen here, and often not by those crawlers either.

Frequently asked questions

Does structured data guarantee that an assistant will quote me?

No. It makes your page easier to understand and to quote; whether an assistant cites you also depends on your content and your reputation.

Which Schema.org type should I add?

The one that describes the page: Product for a product page, Article for an article, FAQPage for a list of questions and answers, LocalBusiness for a shop or an office.

Does this check use AI?

No. It reads your page and applies fixed rules. Nothing is sent to an AI model.

A Beakon audit also checks your technical SEO and structured data, and tests whether Claude and Perplexity cite you. Free to start.
